Selection Procedure

• Candidates merit listprepared on the basis of State-wise in order of descending based on marks , percentage obtained in class 12th  / Diploma Examination.
• Candidates must minimum 60% marks in class 12th / Diploma "55% for SC , ST , PwBD candidates".
•  Test of Local Language : Conducted during Document Verification for candidates.
• No Written Examination of Candidates  : Direct merit-based shortlisting based on class 10+2 / Diploma percentage followed by candidates Document Verification and Medical Fitness.
• Stipend Structure : Monthly Total stipend of Rs. 16,650= (Canara Bank pays Rs. 10,500/= and  Government of India credits Rs. 6,150/- directly through DBT).
• Training Nature : This engagement is for 12 months under the Apprentices Act, 1961. Apprentices are not bank employees and have no claim for permanent employment.
